1Using Backseat
Backseat is a reference companion for finding cheat codes, mission guides and things to do while you play. By using the app or these pages you agree to these terms, to the extent the law allows. If you cannot legally agree on your own, ask a parent or guardian. Your use must also follow the App Store’s rules and the terms of the games you play.
2Your app license
The Backseat iOS app is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). These terms add to that agreement for Backseat’s features and subscriptions; they do not replace it. Third-party and open-source licenses continue to cover their own components.
3An independent fan guide
Backseat is an unofficial fan guide. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. Grand Theft Auto and related names, marks and game material belong to their owners. Backseat does not include any game or give you rights to one. Our own app and website material remains ours.
4Playing fair
The cheat codes in Backseat are for single-player Story Modes, not GTA Online. Backseat does not provide cheat software, game mods or account access. Cheats can turn off achievements and trophies or affect missions and saves, so keep a separate save and check your game version before entering a code.
Do not use Backseat or these pages for anything unlawful, to infringe anyone’s rights, to disrupt the service or to get around purchase and access controls.
5Free week
Every new install starts with a free week of everything in Backseat, with no payment details and no subscription required. When the week ends, cheats, mission guides and Explore stay free for every game up to GTA V. GTA VI, read-aloud, and Siri and Shortcuts then need Backseat Plus. The free week is a feature of the app, not an App Store free trial, and it never turns into a charge on its own.
6Backseat Plus subscriptions
Backseat Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription, sold through Apple as a Weekly plan (billed every week) or a Yearly plan (billed every year). The price for your country is shown in the app and in Apple’s purchase sheet before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
Your subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. If we ever change the price, Apple will tell you first and, where required, ask for your consent.
Plus unlocks the features listed in the app when you buy. GTA VI had not been released when these terms were written: we plan to add its cheats as soon as they are discovered, but we cannot promise a date or how many there will be. Future games, content and features are not guaranteed.
7Cancelling, restoring and refunds
You can cancel at any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. See Apple’s guide to cancelling a subscription.
Use Restore purchases in the app’s Settings to bring back Plus on a new or reset device signed in to the same Apple Account.
Apple handles all billing, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple decides refunds under its own rules and applicable law. See Apple’s refund guidance. Your legal consumer rights are not affected.
8Accuracy and responsibility
We check codes and guides against published references, but information can contain mistakes or go out of date, and codes can differ by edition or platform. Features and content may change, and we cannot promise the app will always be available or free of errors.
To the extent the law allows, Backseat and these pages are provided as they are, without guarantees of accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose, and we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be limited. The app’s license and its liability terms remain governed by Apple’s Standard EULA.
9Changes and contact
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. We may update these terms and their effective date, and we will give notice or ask for consent when the law requires.
